J BRAND Taps London Designer Michael Halpern For Fall Collaboration Collection


Just a little bit ‘70s, a touch of disco and an entire lot of denim, say good day to the brand new J BRAND x Halpern assortment.

Since J BRAND was based in 2005 in Los Angeles, this premium sustainable denim label has partnered with an entire host of main London designers from Simone Rocha to Christopher Kane and Bella Freud, and now Michael Halpern has been added to that esteemed checklist.

This capsule assortment which is a part of the J BRAND Fall 2020 assortment is made up of 9 items, and in true J BRAND kind, there’s nice materials, sustainable denim washes and that is mixed with Halpern’s signature excessive octane and intoxicating glamour (simply test the gold coatings).

“This collaboration has given me the opportunity to express myself in a way I haven’t previously. It was so exciting to be able to use such incredible materials, like J BRAND’s brilliant eco foil denim and embossed leather snakeskin, to create a capsule collection epitomising the Halpern aesthetic: true glamour whilst kissing classic Americana.” Michael Halpern

After all, the bottoms take centre stage and there are six variants with completely different coatings, and a sassy leather-based providing too. These sit alongside three jackets which embody an announcement patent leather-based balloon-sleeve trench (good day winter), a denim blazer and a snake embossed leather-based blazer.

“This assortment was an opportunity for me to dive right into a medium of denim and leather-based that I havenever actually experimented with earlier than.
