See John Krasinski Put Words to The Office Theme Song on SNL

Everybody is aware of the acquainted melody of The Workplace‘s instrumental theme track, and though it is already iconic, John Krasinski determined to offer it a bit extra aptitude. In a sketch on the Jan. 30 episode of SNL, John — who was appearing as host — remixed the theme track, including a string of hilarious “lyrics” within the type of observations concerning the clips that seem within the present’s opening credit.

“Scranton, Scranton, Scranton, Scranton, Scranton, Scranton, Scranton, Scranton,” he begins the track’s “long-lost lyrics” to the rhythm of the music. “Again the place all of us lived and labored as a calculator. There’s Dwight, he is the unhealthy man, and the hero’s title is Jim!”

There’s extra, and whereas it is extraordinarily catchy, it is undoubtedly higher heard than learn. Hearken to all the “authentic” The Workplace theme track as written and carried out by John Krasinski within the clip above (and do not miss his opening monologue, which included a really memorable kiss).
